Default A few Picric patterns

Here are a few Picric patterns that I have meddled with over the years, the Picric Peter took my best fish of Loch Craggie during a heavy Mayfly hatch in June 2003, 3Ib 12oz.

Gerry when I use those picric dyed hen pheasant wings for the peter they are inclined to fragment! Any ideas how to minimize this?

The first three for me Gerry are simply stunning. The mayfly is my favourite though, the head hackle looks like it has a life of it's own.
