Default Blackbird feathers

Thanks to an obliging sparrowhawk I have a small bag of blackbird feathers, mostly those looking like cape type feathers but a few tail feathers too.

I am thinking spiders/waterhen bloa/stewarts spider type application for the sparse cape feathers, anything im overlooking, and what about the tails?

Its the wings you are wanting for the hackles on spiders etc, though I suppose any suitable sized feather will do. Tails? Could be used as a dark variation of starling or as a wing case on a nymph.

P.S. watch out for any beasties lurking in those feathers.
