Default Chuffed to little mint balls with myself

I decided to make a few flies tonight, after setting up on the table I looked in the box I keep my hooks in and found a piece of paper dated March 1992 which had three flies wrapped in it, I was then I worked out that it was the last time I'd made any flies so I spent the next two hours slowly getting back to it and made 20 flies, now thats slow for me as I used to make 25-30 per hour, but I'm happy and my eyes are sore. I made some partridge flies, March Browns, Hares ears and some Greenwells. They aren't the best flies I've ever made, but they'll catch fish as they're like the last batch I made. Tomorrow I'm going to dig through what I have left of my flies and count what I have of each then sit at the vice all day if I can and replenish the stock, I like to have 6 of each pattern I use, I'm gonna be busy

Thumbs up

Welcome back to the insane world of flytying K.G.

I took a break from it for a few years when golf sidetracked me but firmly back at the bench now and loving every second of it.

Well done you sir

How very dare you Danny, I looked f*cking gorgeous in my baby pink jumper and green plaid trousers AND for the record I actually managed to play to a handicap that deserved a mini skirt, I'll have you know!

The funny thing that happened was when I was waxing the thread my daughter asked what it was, after telling her she said, "does it come out of bees ears?"

Out of the mouths of babes!
