Evening Saracen, forgive my dodgy eyesight, but have you used as the shoulder hackle.

Excellent tying by the way

Really nice bumbles that will catch fish for sure. Nothing like Fiery Brown early in the season
Is that a reddish hook or just some camera trickery

Nice Sam........I canny work out what you have used as the front hackle on the top fly though,is it pheasant shoulder or summat...

Hi Guys,

I should have put the patterns down!!!

Hook: copper b175
tail: pheasant crest
Body: Picric or Golden olive
Hackle:Picric or Golden olive
rib: silver wire
Legsicric Pheasant tail
Shoulder Hackle: Feiry Brown hen pheasant body Feather.

Nice Patterns Sam, I'm always a sucker for pheasant rump head hackles

strangely I tied something similar the other day when I saw Peters Shrimpers, but I used your Picric red game cape as body hackle.

HMMMM NICE !!!Are they a secret!!! Get them out!! and let us all have a look!!!
I must admit I have to give a big thanks to Mayflyjunky who gave me the undyed skin.
I tied a few nice patterns using hen pheasant flank feathers shoulder a few years ago and called them "Flankers" not to be confused, of course with Oakham Orange who is a Flanker with a silent "W"!!!
