Default Buzzers- 2 old and 2 new

Well its been a while since i put my flies up so though i would try again.

2 Old

Think the thorax is a bit short on this one

This was a good fly for me last year, although the pheasant tail is destroyed after a few fish, a few fish is all i ever catch

2 New

Been playin around with varnish as i have a pot of the stuff which has gone very gloopy, this was the first result.

I tried to give a better impression of segmentation with some stripped quill and i like the results although i have not tried it yet.

I would appreciate comments and constructive criticism on how i can improve these flies.

The rib on 2 is small mirage tinsel, I like a bit of flash.

Underneath the quill is a layer of fine tan thread just to help bed it. I tried using it on a bare hook but found it slipped a lot.
