Default Drennan Trad Wets

I have been asked to tie some blobs on these hooks for a pal ,i have contacted a forum member about the hooks as he had them for sale ,i assume he has ran out as he hasn't replied to a couple of messages i sent him ,does anyone else sell these hooks ?If not he will get the blobs on SSS size 6

They have them in an 8 here.

Not seen any 6's though sorry. The 8's are great for big muddlers!

I think Kamasan B175's might be a suitable alternative to the Drennan hooks

oops, sorry about that, they have #10's for micro blobs!!
If you want something different from the SSS, then how about the Kamasan B982?

Bear I have a box or 2 of size 8 drennan wet fly supremes if they are any use to you?

I think he was wanting the drennan trad wets because they fit inside the comp gauge without adjusting the hook .

the size 6 KB982 fit in the gauge I think, which is what I use for my blobs.

Drennan hooks have been discontinued. I found this out from local tackle shop last year who checked for me and said kamasan are taking over stocks. Best bet is to use Kamasan B175 as they are heavy guage and very similar size.
