Whilst such info is readily available if one searches, it would be useful to have it here for any that are interested in tying and fishing the classics for the first time.

It is a minor issue, and as long as it is highlighted I think we can leave it to the individual tier to decide.

has anyone here ever tied and or fished a "legs eleven" would like to know a little about its
background as i hear its a good fly in the west of ireland about now and i wouldn't mind tying a few of them up

I am pleased to say that Scratch has agreed for his Essentials posts to be added to the sticky.
I think this will provide a great platform for some more modern patterns that do not fall under the Classics.
Perhaps patterns like,
Damsel nymph, cormorant, dare I say it, The BLOB!!!!!!!!!!
