Quick question please fly tiers of the world, I have just got my first ever bottle of this stuff due to its repeated mention on the forum but do I thin it straight away or wait untill it thickens a bit? this may sound obvious to the knowing but I is not knowing

Thanks

Mick

Use it right out the bottle mate, no need to thin it.

When it does evetually thicken, use a cocktail stick to stir it up, doing so will trap air bubbles in the mix and these transfer to buzzers nicely!

Use it as it is, it will thicken up eventually and then its time to thin it or buy a new bottle. For me the beauty of SHHAN is that it pentrates and protects whatever you put it on, thick varnish tends to just sit on top.
Of course this means more coats if you want a hard shiny finish. You can always put a thick coat on top of a thinner coat or two.

Cheers

Hi mick I would wait till it thickens its self this normaly happens half way through a bottle then you can try adding a bit of the thinner but I normally just get rid of the old bottle and buy a new one for all they are now

Hi Mick,
As the others say, use it as it comes. But when it does thicken up a bit, I wouldn't throw it away. Buy a new bottle to use as a base (penetrating) layer, then use the old, thicker stuff as a top coat when the first application is dry. That way, you should find that just two coats will give you a great finish.
Cheers,
Angus
