Thread: Sheer 14/0 (either tan or orange)
Tail: Coq de Leon
Abdomen & Thorax: Orvis Spectrablend (either brown or ginger)
Wing: 3 plumes of CDC

Hi Dave, really like your cdc duns just one quick question what method to you prefer, when you tie the cdc in?
The split thread method or placing the cdc on top like you have it these flies?
I tie all my cdc flies using the second method, but after viewing your split thread method on your river fly box page! i thought you would tie the smaller flies this way?
Any method better than the other?
