Default challenge...can you tie me a carrot fly ???

calling help from a good fly tyer
i fly fish for carp mostly in the summer and i usually use immitation biscuits.but i realy want to get em on traditional flys.i have seen they use these in the states for carp very sucessfully , do you think they would work here???

they need to be on strong carp hooks and i am not expecting them for free.if you are stuck in with the weather and have a bit of spare time could any one tie some for me in a few different styles and sizes to try in the spring.i can find out exactly what materials they use
or can i buy these shop made any where?? is it a pattern simmilar to something else.cheers darren

There was an article in a magazine saying that sedgehogs are good for carp , They float on the top and looks like bread and thats how they were caught

Cant remember which mag it was either T&S or trout fisherman

i saw that one. i know that of the top is the usual way to get em but after several years fishing them this way i fancied fooling them with a subsurface pattern,new challenges and all that
