Hi good luck with it, giv the guys an idea of what type of fishing you are likely to do and what flies you want to make....
Personally i lust after a C&f designs bobbin holder or three .
Oh many a hint i have dropped on b'days and christmas to the extent that Mrs pom knows exactly the cost of these treats. So one turning up on the kitchen table un-announced now would earn me Deaf and Dumb breakfast for a week....
And the moral of my tale? Dont tell the Mrs, just buy it!

Hi Bruce/pom
Most of my fishing this season will be wild trout river work , i've already done some basic spiders but had bought Kevlar thread and seems a bit thick ! Bruce i'd alread been on that site "so that'll do me".

John,

I personally use G. Griffiths sheer 14/0 (ultrafine) for much of my tying - it DOES have great strength for the diameter - always try to use the finest thread you can manage as the result will be a neater fly.

(Cobweb is a 6/0 thread - a bit on the thick side for small patterns)

If you would like to email me with your full address, I will send you a spool with my compliments to try out - info@flytyingboutique.com

If you like it, you know where to come to obtain more!

Kind regards

I would thoroughly recommend Phil at Spider Plus, his service is second to none.
