Red face tools and where to get them

Hello all,

sadly father christmas didnt bring me a C&f marco polo fly tying kit so I am reduced to having to purchase tools myself. Can anybody suggest a good quality set of tools that I could buy, (preferably in a presentation box) (i dont need a vice). I dont want to spend a fortune, but up to £60 would be my limit.

I have tied on and off for about 10 years however using rubbish tools that I bought piecemeal. I've decided to start from scratch again and would be greatful for any assistance offered.

Thanks

Sedge

Thanks for the swift repsonses,

I was looking on ebay at a few 'kits'. Didnt know whether it made a huge difference with regards to tool quality, I mean some kits are dirt cheap, but the set I've got are dirt cheap... and it shows, I.e hackles slipping out of the pliers etc....
Anybody know of any good 'kits' in a box... or am I better just buying the tools separately? Cheers for the links Al, that O tools kit is exactly what I am looking for.

Thanks.

Sedge

Stick with the C&F stuff - £60 will get you started easily and you can always add bits here and there. Half the widgets in the Marco Polo kit just seem to be there to fill up the space (three half hitchers?!). The combo bobbin isn't great, either..

Never seen a good kit in a presentation box yet i would suggest you buy your items separate anyway you cant use a box to help you tie a fly lol

Orvis do a couple of Fly Tying Tool Sets, check out the big wooden Wasatch tool set reduced by about £100 or maybe the more realistic priced walleted tool set about £50 might have some more inthe Sale?
