Default Swiss straw/raffia - light tan

Anyone know where I can buy this colour? (I am also looking for black.)

To be honest, I don't know what colour the natural is. The recipe calls for "light tan".

Natural is generally the colour of pale straw.

I actually think that is what raffia is.

Most fly tying shops sell it but you will get better value if you buy in a home improvements/hobbie shop.

You could try 'Wharfedale Angling Centre' on they might be able to help.

I'd try a local florist if you have one, raffia is used extensively for floral decoration

You could also check ebay. Just type raffia in the search bar. You would be surprised at how many and the range of colours available.

Mate I know what it is. (Although it's not "just straw". It's a synthetic replication of straw.) I just can't find the colour.

Loopy, Wharfedale don't have that colour.

Highlander, thanks for the offer. Where did you buy it, do you remember?
