Ballast: Flat lead
Thread: Powersilk 10/0, olive
Abdomen: Orvis Spectrablend, Dark Olive
Thorax: Argentinian hare, dyed olive
Shell-back: Hends Spectra Flash, olive #34
Black permanent marker over the thorax and varnish over shell back)

Pink & Cream

very nice dave, im presuming just the one wrap of lead dave to keep the profile so slim ??

Yes, just one layer of medium, flat lead on these two examples. If using two, I make the second wrap shorter to enhance the 'hump' : albeit you forgo some of the slimness in the middle body. See here on the one I posted yesterday:

jees dave they make the naturals look like porky pigs. You've really got lead on those?

I noticed that you have tied the shellbacks in reverse like lucian does- how do you find it compared to the norm?

They are quality m8 , get yourself trading wi them , its the perfect time to shift them .The GRAYLINGS would chomp on them all day Well done.

I promise you there is - but only one layer of flat lead. Also don't forget they are on the Fine Wire version of the Partridge Czech hook.
