Default A sad day
The Veniard vice that I've had since christmas 1973 has passed away and I'm going to have to replace it, I mostly make trout and sea trout flies between 16 to 8 so I'm open to suggestions as to which to get that won't break the bank, trying to budget under £30.

I would say Snowbee flymate (non ball joint version) or Regent rotatable. Both can be had for around that price. The Regent should be around £20.

id send that back to the manufacturer, that is disgusting. you have only had that vice 36 years. they certainly dont make them loike they used to.

For the money the regent is unbeatable in fact i think that it out performs vices that are 4 and 5 times the price.
