Bells

Just see these as bells basically because of their shape as you will see below, most prob say blobs but i see things in a dif way than others, anyway just do a few of these types of patterns for the old pops these days as he more a relaxed angler these days with his old pains, fishing rivers less more appealing to him due to his condition....more a story teller in the lodges at still waters these days, some great stories i mite add with his dream come true to Alaska thrown in aswell....anyhow i tie all the flies he needs for his relaxing style these days where he consistently catching loads and heading to the hut for tea and a good yarn with the other old guys.....so here are the bells i tie wool butt fritz rear body marabou front body and long hackles at the head.



























Not hard to spot the bell thing and on a sinking line sitting at the bank as pops does these days very affective.

I have never fished a blob but they do look good with the marabou and will be interesting to see how they go.

The olive one with yellow marabou has not touched bottom yet the times ive used it.
