Default surf candy sandeel

hi all
been messing around with epoxy for the first time today and this is the best of a bunch of four surf candy's i tied up to try and tempt a mackeral or pollack in the new year

hook = sakuma manta size 1
thread=tan
wing/tail= bucktail white/chartreuse/brown+krytal flash
body=mylar tinsel+epoxy
eyes= stick on eyes

all comments or critisisms taken on board thanks

Excellent

Surf fishing for mackeral is huge amounts of fun - go as light as you can and pound for pound they take some beating.

I want one on a 2 weight

That will catch for sure, as Dave said Mackerel great fun on a light fly rod. have had them on a 5 wt, and they will give you a run for your money.

That's a very nice looking swimmer indeed, but mackerel and pollack aren't that fussy .
