Hi Guys
I tied this pattern earlier this year specifically for Millhall fishery in Central Scotland, as all my Damsels were "Gold lures" and often at this fishery the fish were very high in the water. Damsel always fish well there but my gold lures were passing through the fish to quickly
I wanted a more life like "unweighted" damsel nymph to fish on a floating line high in the water but wanted a bit of "high-vis" hence the fire-orange head and the chartreuse floss shell back. I used olive marabou tips for the tail, olive partridge fior the legs and olive seals fur for the body, silver oval silver rib.
It has been HUGE success

it took about 6 fish first time my wee buddy and i fished it at Millhall, better still it has proved popular with the wild brown trout too, which im really happy with
To this end ive tied up a "black" version .......................not fished it yet

but i feel it will go done well. In summer i fishes well on the point high in the water, in winter ive found it very useful fished as a dropper with a lure or gold head on the point.
