Default K.I.S.S Principle !

Hi Guys

To keep the cabin fever at bay i've been loading my new C & F fly box and sorting out my other flee boxes.........

Whilst do so i came apon this pattern basically a mini Humungus but without palmered hackle, i hate wasting anything the result this little fella after tying full size Humungus from the left over scraps ! Its tied on a B175 size 10 !

I think you will agree it conforms to the K.I.S.S principle "Keep it simple stupid"

Whilst i havent tried it on trout ......yet i did try it out on canal perch and failed dismally as it was nailed by a 4 lb pike

Have you got any "simple" but "killer" patterns ??

don't have a pic of it, but a very simple and effective fly for me is the pink stalking bug.

hook Kamasan B175 size 10 or 12
underbody lead wire
thread bright red
dubbing white antron

just looks like a white magot when dry, but turns pink when wet

either cast at sighted fish or cast out and watch for takes on the drop
