Default Partridge variant

Some 20+ years ago I started modifying some partridge flies on size 12 t0 16 hooks as an experiment, this was using orange, red, yellow and green DFM thread and copper wire, basically make a partridge fly using one of the above threads and give it a copper rib, I caught more fish on the green bodied one and the red bodied one turned a pink hue and all these flies caught me a great deal of brownies and grayling on the river.
I'm gonna sort out my fly tying box and get some more made for next season along with some snipe and woodcock variants.
