Default Fly tying vices

I like the look of the fly tying vices used by Davie McPhail and Oliver Edwards on their websites.

Anyone know what make they are?

Mind you I have a very good American Griffin rotary vice and to start looking at others is being a little silly I suppose.

Ron

Feel free to assuage your guilt at lusting over a new vice by passing on your Griffin to lil' ol' me............a fellow South African

Thumbs up

Hi Ron,

Read all your posts about handmade shirts and london tailors.. so put your hand in your pocket and get the best hand made vice in the world, the LAW. Don't be detracted by the mass produced although good Snowbee Waldron. Paull Little, who was rumoured to have every vice going, recommended I get one and I did and its was the best decision I have made....
So contact Laurence in Stafford but be prepared to put your name down on the waiting list.

All the best, Neil.

Ron,

The cost of the LAW bench vice is £430 I believe - with a waiting list of about 4 / 5 months.

At least this gives one time to save up! Well worth every penny (but lets not get into this discussion again! - just search for "LAW Vice" on the forum for recent posts)

Kind regards
