Much much better Harry! We can see exactly what's going on now

As far as the Dabblers are concerned.. Lovely ties mate, you must be quite proud of them? Anyone would be. If I may be so bold as to proffer a little tip though... try to scale the whole dressing down a little. They are delightful ties mate, and will have their day... keep a few of them. They are on the beefy side though.. wild flies for a wild day. If you tone them down a little, they'll be a little more versatile.

Merry Christmas youngster Now p!ss off to bed

All I meant was, maybe choose a slightly shorter body hackle. Also, tie in a little less, and shorter mallard.

Mine are far from perfect Harry, but here's a more 'everyday' kinda pattern, something for you to go off.

Very nice H, the JC in the background didnt do them justice, my kind of dressings, nice and beefy the way I prefer them. I wouldnt tone down the ammount of bronze used, these will bring up these wild broonies nae bother. Like the Gold Lite Brite, nice touch.
Keep em coming.
Cheers
Gerry
