Default Prince Nymphs

Can anyone give me some links to some nice Prince Nymphs please. I'm just about to tie up a few from the original pattern but was wondering if someone could come up with pics or dressings for a few with a nice flashy modern twist.

Any help appreciated.

Don.

A good one, from my regional forum in the colonies

The original is tied with a ostrich herl body, while the "modern", more common variation uses peacock herl. And even more modern, but not post-modern, would be to add a set of rubber legs: a strand on each side, tied near the bead head at the middle of each strand.

Thanks for some excellent links. Tied up a few of the originals last night and will try and get some variations done soon. Will post pics when done.

Cheers,

Don.

i've got a similar fly. it's a cross between a ptn and a prince nymph and fishes well as a size 14 on a dropper.
