Default Clouser or Cat?

Did a bit of mucking around with these taking in a bit of clousers and cat whisker idea and came up with these..they do work, now find you can tie them large and small and have been doing them on size 12 grubber hooks more recently, anyways here are a few pics of what ive been doing

More like a Crazy Charley to me, with the body tied so long to the tail and the eyes so far forwards. If you had stopped halfway down the shank and moved the eyes back 1/4 of the shank then yes, that's clouser style.

That said I'm sure they are great rainbow flies and very mobile in the water,
The colours are good, but I always find in this type of fly it helps to have a spot of red or orange behind the bead head.

Is the fur Rabbit or Arctic fox?
What silk did you use for the body ?

Cheers

Hi Chris,

Whats a crazy charlie?....sorry just aint seen one, seen clousers and cats and just worked from there m8...too much free time as lost job start of year and been tying all sorts of stuff to keep the old mind ticking over.

Been putting rabbit and marabou in them and yes the bows do like them.

Did have a go at salt water types too, but as i say just killing time m8.
