I reckon its pretty good, although after tying a lot of these and listening to lots of advice, I now tie them a little slimmer and with only 1 turn each of the front hackles.

Sure it will catch you plenty of fish though.

Will try and tie one similar and photograph later.

Cheers Ben....less is more then on the partridge,was doing them slimmer and didnt feel right though like this one.

Thats more like it mate, much more movement is going to happen with that.

Mate keep tying them big and bushy, that's the way they like them in Ireland!! I especially like the primrose silk body, excellent on mayflies.Niceeeeee!!

Oh and watch out for that O.O. he has a wee thing for primrose flees, I noticed it while rowing him around Conn for 4 hours while he had 4 fish for 15lbs!! By the way we were both ment to be fishing!!!
