Post Heavy Weight Grayling Bugs

Here is some grayling bugs that have been catching for me so far this winter
I would welcome comments on the following flies, for ways of improving the patterns or do you think they are good enough as they are Don't know what i prefer better cdc collar or glister dubbing
1,Tungsten hare's ear

Whats the body on the last 3 Robert? Is it that new nymph glass stuff? 2nd one in particular looks very nice.

very nice
just an idea with the first one, one the larger bead, push it on so the side with the larger opening faces the smaller bead, so it slots over the smaller one slightly. Makes a neater fly imo.

Hi Davie, the material in question is larva lave v-rib m8, in shrimp pink what i did under it was put a layer of pearl mirage so it shines through

Does that stuff come in yellow? Being doing quite well recently with yellow bodied bugs. This fish fell to a yellow bodied bidoz.

hi robert. lovely flies mate. with the glass bodies are using the same colour glass bodies ie clear or have you used different colours and on which ones. cheers.

Robert,

That fish was caught on one with a black bead, in fact all the fish that day bar one was caught on that same fly including a nice sea trout. Think the black suits the yellow body quite well. My box is stuffed with them now.

Burhan,

Would post a pic up but I al I have on me is my iPhone camera and that takes a p1ss photo. Estimate around 2 and a half but my mates and I had around 5 fish that day taht where around the 3ish mark. Will post a pic up in grayling section.

Hi Burhan, The colours are as follows, no 2 is medium olive, no 3 is shrimp pink and no 4 is dark olive
