Hi everyone,
Just a quick question.
Would fabic dyes, dye fly tying materials?

Yes ... and very successfully if you bear in mind that you're dying feathers, hair etc that can be delicate in nature and doesn't need immersing in boiling dye mixture.

Lots of advice available on the net.

Hi Boony,

Check out 'dylon' I've used it in the past - but not for a few years. It's pretty easy to use, but red & black are always a problem to dye successfully . . .

try food colourings aswell , a nice tip passed on to me by phil at spidersplus

Depends on what materials u wanna dye

Ive been dying my own gear for a few years now

Venairds - fritz

Capes - Jacquard acid dyes

get a set of good scales ,, and everything needs weighed ,,

once u get into dying ,, ull have no time to fish or tie

i have dye some blod fritz with highland green and has come out yellow can any one tell me why thanks
