The first one is a cracker.

On the comparadun you want the wing to fan 180 degrees. Remember it supports the fly on the surface.

Very good. However I would shorten the comparadun wing, you'll find at that length it will be top heavy and will most often than not land with wing in the surface film.

Jeez mate, If youve only been tying for 6 months you're gonna be one awesome fly dresser !!!!!!
If you've not done so, may I suggest you join the Fly Dressers Guild and let what is obviously a real talent find itself.
The more you tie, the better you be :-)

Cheers for the comments so far lads,i am not cringing as much as i thought i would be,

I knew there was something wrong with the comparadun but couldnt put my finger on it,that was one of the reasons i decided to post,so thanks Steve and Sculpin for pointing that out for me,
Back to the bench for me

those are a real eye opener for newcomers to the hobby as this is what can be achieved in 6 - 12 months or so if only you listen to criticism and take on ant pointers about proportions etc!!! as these are the way to better tied and thus progress in your tying ,,,very good stuff their .
