Default Does Music Help?

Just was wondering if while tying flies like other forms of art does playing music in the background help concentration? If so what type or does it depend on the pattern?

ACDC Thunderstruck!
Get that ripping in the background, and that will help you no end. Especially if your gonna tie a few blobs up

It's really whatever floats your boat!

Yeah, sometimes i listen to the likes of AC/DC and other favs whilst knocking out a few blobs but sometimes I prefer something mellow. The results are usually the same. I don't acquaint type of music to a particular fly pattern but rather mood, time of the day/night/month.

Just lately, I've been listening to a lot of Jacqueline du Pre and Ennio Morricone whilst tying an assortment of patterns.

Having said all that, the chance of peace and quiet is often savoured.

If it were possible it would be total silence for me, the quieter the better but everyone to their own choice whatever works for you is the way to go.
