Default jig hooks

i am going to order some dohiku hdn 302sp jig hooks size 14,i know that the knapek size 14's are quite big has anyone used these hooks what are they like for tying nymphs for fishing the dou or trio.

there about a size 12. I use them on a czech style set up, they make for pretty heavy bugs as they require the use of large tungy beads unless you get the ones with the split in. I use the 12's- which work out at about a ten, and they use atleast a 3.5mm conventional tungy bead to fit properly.

the dohiku ones are nice hooks ....

I don't have a Knapek jig hook to compare the Dohiku with for you but if you give me your email address, I can take a photo of the Dohikus and email it to you.
