I just spool it on to larger bobbins
Im sure there are holders some where though and dont know whether the automatic ones that Phil( spiderplus) sells would do the trick.

I use these

I've put an ordninary bobbin in the picture for scale.

Can't remember where I got them from but they are of the right size and do the business.

Maybe of some help.

I use the Matarelli Midge,a bit pricey for what they are tbh.

Ken Newton did a bobbin for smaller spools, Lakeland stocked them. A standard Veniard's one will work if you bend the arms in & put a few turns of a rubber band around them.

Hi derfliegenbinder

Welcome to the forum. Lovely little bobbin but plenty of dollar there.

Hope you will stick around.

I just use a normal one and bend the legs in with my bare hands

I maybe just a bit behind bobbin holder development here, but I have never bought or seen a bobbin holder that didn't acommodate a Pearsalls bobbin. The last one i bought, just a couple of months back was a Veniards ceramic lined. I had to stetch the legs to fit modern wider bobbins! It seems a fiddly waste of time to transfer all your Pearsalls to wide bobbins, and thats if you actually have spare wide bobbins! I can't see the point of that when one can buy holders that fit the Pearsalls spools.
That said, if you really can't find narrow bobbin holders, maybe push the legs together to fit. Personally I have never seen a bobbin holder that can hold a wide spool without it being very tight to wind, and needing stretching. They must be out there tho, hence your post!
I keep an unstretched holder especially for Pearsalls.
