Default How to stop unwanted visits ??

I know this will have been asked before so please forgive me .

What is the stuff you put in with your fly tying gear to stop the wee beasties getting at it for their lunch ???

Cheers Jim , can I get a bag of crystals or do I have to break some of the mothballs ??? Also is it best to put a little in each bag of feathers , saddles etc....???

Your local hardware shop should sell them Danny,if you have problems finding Mothballs,you might find it easier to get hold of the napthalene toilet blocks which are exactly the same stuff!

You mean the little pink or blue blocks you get in pubs ?? The ones that when you are taking a pi** you can roll around with the flow and try and hit a six

Default freeze brrrrr

every now and then i freeze my materials ie wings skins and capes and put in little sprinkles of moth balls ive seen grown men on thier knees and in teers as they bin irraplaceable kit cause it gets infested

just alittle so you dont dry out the flues on the wings or hackles from capes but i do advise freezing any new materials before introducing to your collection
