Default Anyone bought/own a C&F Hook Pallet?

Thinking of having a tidy up and these look ok from the pictures. As you know it's always a job finding hooks amongst the many containers you collect over the years.

Thought this might do the job.

For anyone who hasn't seen them here is an example.

Fly Tying Hook Organisers / C & F Hook Pallet -- Orvis UK

Thanks on advance for any advice on the matter of hook storage and these pallets.

They're very good and come in varying 'styles' to suit different hook sizes. I've also seen reference to a C&F 'Bead Palette' which would be a handy addition but I've never been able to find one on sale anywhere.

I like C&F gear, but look for a Zebco magnetic hook box, much cheeper and hooks of varying sizes can be stored in 40 compartments, comes with a magnetic hook picker.
For a bead dispenser use a weight dispenser that coarse fishermen use.

Thanks for your views and replies. I am going to try the Zebco (Shaky) for a fiver and if no good buy into C&F.

Cheers

The best boxes with this design used to be made by an Italian company called Stonfo, dont know if they are still around.

I have several of those magnetic boxes promoted from my old coarse days. Get them from any coarse fishing shop. You'll probably save money. The Zebco ones are perfectly OK although I wrap rubber bands round them to make sure the hooks stay put in the event of me dropping them.

It looks as if that this one is similar to the one that I am trying out.

Cheers

They look good and have a lip on the lid edge implying that they will stay shut.

I think I found them here

A distinct possibility.

WK is that what you have to do to keep them shut! I feel a competition prize being donated! But they do look good apart from that. I'll wait and see it in the flesh so to speak. Thank you for your input.
