Default extended body emerger

this one based on what matt (NCA) brought to my attention, that the shuck of an emerger hangs off the legs rather than the abdomen.

cheers for the comments guys haha lol let the worship begin scotty Im not the best fisherman or fly tyer I can promise that, but I do enjoy it, especially messing around with new and old ideas if you havnt noticed yet

cheers pom, nah not long to tie but the bodies can be a little fiddly at first, best to just tie the bodies one night then tie the pattern the next. This is on a size 14, hopefully I can wittle then down to a decent 16, or so, this one (in terms of the extended body) would more likely imitate something between sizes 10-12!!!

Very intersting concept and tie, for the shuck would you be better using something more translucent and "empty" looking seeing as it's just a shell.

We seek for slumbering trout
And whispering in their ears
Give them unquiet dreams;
Leaning softly out
From ferns that drop their tears
Over the young streams.
Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
