Default Turrall's Fire Red Wool.

I've decided to go retro with some of my wets tails next season, so I have secured a stock of Turrall's Fluor Fire Red wool to replace my usual Globrite No4. Now I have it however, it looks ....well, not as I expected. To me it looks rather pink. Have I erred? Do I have the traditionally correct tailing material for the likes of Zulu's and Soldier Palmers?
