Question Deer hair properties

Hi All
Does anybody know of a good source of information on the properties of different types of deer hair, and the types of flys they might be suitable for?
I tend to use Roe for all my tying but I'm sure there must be better options for particular patterns.

Regards
Billy

Thanks for that guys.
Looks like antelope might be worth a try for muddlers.
Does anybody know a good stockist and are dyed versions available?

Regards
Billy

I already get most of my dyed roe from Gerry. Just fancy trying somrthing different. Googling antelope only comes up with the Glasgow company I've given up on
