Default after taking on some advice

well i put up a few of my first goes at hogs and ill be adding more too ,but after taking on the fact i would get a better result using a hair stacker this is what i got.

not yet what I'm striving for but better than the previous ones and i think i know were i have went wrong ,,,,tail is just slightly to long.

Using a stacker for this pattern is IMO only to make it look neater to our eye . After all the "Hog" style is a scruffy looking pattern and I am sure the fish don't give a flying **** if the hair has been stacked or not .
I think the ones you did that were NOT stacked looked better . Only thing is maybe just shorten the hair slightly in your ones that were not stacked . If you shorten the tail and then work from there I am sure that would help .

the tail is were Ive been going wrong because if you make that right then u cant really go wrong as it becomes your guide for the whole fly.

Aye thats it , was what I was trying to say

To be honest I should not even comment as I am only going from what I have read

Anyway whatever I am sure they will take fish ....

yeah u are right their as some of my most ugly battered flies have often been good fish attractors ,,,did u notice the statement give as fish attractors as I'm not a great fish catcher although i get my fair share.
