Best I can remember:

tail, yellow hackle fibres
body, yellow ostrich herl
rib not sure?
throat hackle crimson cock
Wing 4 yellow cock hackles

There was an unusual ingrediant in there somewhere but cant just remember.
It was a great fav' on North Third some years ago

I remember it a bit differently. A google didn't help me none. My best guess is:

Tail - none
butt and rib - gold oval tinsel
body - yellow floss
hackle - yellow cock
wing - yellow squirrel tail

But Maharg's version sounds good too!

Created by Iain Murray-Thompson, named after his dog.
  • Hook: L/S 8-12
  • Thread: Primrose
  • Tail: yellow dyed kid goat hair
  • Body: white cotton very lightly dubbed with yellow seals fur, with white ostrich herl over.
  • Rib: oval silver tinsel
  • Throat hackle: Dark claret as a beard
  • Wing: Cock hackles dyed lemon yellow.
  • Cheeks: Jungle cock eyes
  • Head: Black varnish

Hope that helps. As I remembered an unusual body.
Caught a few rainbows with it from North Third at the corner of the dam.
