Thanks for the comments guys! Aye terry all day long nah Im studying for a biology degree, which demands a fair few essays so I spend a lot of my time on the comp either reading, researching, writing or on the student portal. The vice is a big destraction, tends to prolong the work!

i have been working on some of these myself but more in Dave Wiltshire and using size 20 partridge klink hooks.

cheers kevin, Daves got this style down to a very fine art just a quick glance at his river fly box site will tell you that.

Don't get me wrong I like the partridge hooks, but for one there not barbless and two the hooks don't go into a small enough size for my liking if only eh?
