nice one steve. A very useful fly that one, you can stick a lot of weight on it and the fish don't mind at all.

Polaris size needed presently, with all the water running seawards. Nice Steve.

Another version I generally tie is to leave a thick strand of eye poking nylon at the eye to enable the shot size to be changed. Remember to burn/tie a blob on the end of the nylon to prevent the shot sliping off.

You aren't the only one corky, my 3rd attempt throughout the day. Maybe firefox's latest version doesn't like it......
