The very simple Grey Midge Pupae is an excellent general purpose stripped quil buzzer.
Hook:
14-18
Silk:
Black
Body:
Stripped peacock herl
Thorax:
Mole fur or rabbit underbody fur.

The thorax is more just a bit of a blob - you barely need a pinch of fur.
The rest is really so basic it shouldn't need an sbs.

Hook: Competition heavyweight (eg. kam b175) or curved grub (eg. kam b110)
Thread: Depends what colour buzzer ya want (black is normal)
Body: stripped peacock quill, use a rubber or your thumb to strip it.
thorax: build up of thread, I aim for about 2 times the thickness of the body
cheeks: orange goose biots, or strips from doritos crisp packets
breathers (optional): white antron

you're looking for a body similar to the body on this (yes, i know its not a buzzer, but you get the idea?)
