Default adhesive lead strip/sheet

anyone know where i can get this stuff? watching to many sbs for my grayling bugs and the ready weighted hooks are expensive. thanks jon mcmillan.

eBay is your friend ... search for "lead tape for golf clubs" or something similar. It's used to add weight to the club. There are also sellers offering 10 sq. in. of "lead foil" for about £3.

Veniards do it in small packs a 2" square approx just cut what you need, you may find bigger better value pieces on e-bay ?

Wow. How thick is this stuff? Amazing how stuff can be repackaged for fly tying and marked up multiple times.

have a look at romneymin.com i know it is for dolls houses but he does a 20in long by 2and a half inch wide by half a mm thick for £2.50 also other sizes available.

Can highly recommend the romneyin.com stuff. Its got decent weight compared to the c.rap from veniards, one roll @2.50 should do a hell of a load of flies.

If you are near a golf course go and ask in the Pro shop I have got it from there before...

that's why we're all broke. if you look in arts and crafts shops you'll be able to pick up loads of feathers and other fly tying materials for much less than you'll get them for in a fly fishing supplies store or online

Just bought some for £1.50 about 100mm X 40mm. Usually see it elsewhere for £2.00 and I thought I had found a good deal
