Default Comp Hooks

Why is it no Hook Company makes hooks that are comp legal ? ,, B160 size 6s need a wee bend on the eye,, so why dont they make them that way.

plenty of hooks fit in the comp gauge why would a hook company make all there hooks fit the gauge??????? only takes a second to tweak the eye wheres the hardship in that believe it or not hooks are made for more than comp fishing

B980 or B982 #6 do the trick, nice wide gape, super strong and no need to bend the eye.

I agree Ali it does seem a bit silly when you look at it, I think it just makes it that bit more interesting though when you know everyone (well hopefully) is using flies that have been tied to meet int rules as opposed to someone been able to chuck a tube or a big minkie out there. Could job you can fit a nice big orange blob in the gauge though otherwise I'd be screwed
