What I reckon you were aiming at mate. I love the look of it, deadly simple, just two cdc feathers for the ingredients- a thread body and a thread rib. Hope it's what you were describing.

wish I could tie them well 'upstream' style, I'll keep practising though! these will have to do for the now.

Im liking that WP like the bulgy head too- reminds me of those huge deer and foam hoppers the yanks use. Good to see you posting some flies!
