Anyone know the dressing for a polar bear lure?

Dont know. Was at my local fishery and a guy caught lots of fish on it. I asked him what it was and it was a polar bear. Quite sparkly if that helps

There is quite a few qith Polar Bear in the dressing particularly Steelhead Flies.

Suggest that you ask your man for an example and then we may be able to come up with some tying suggestions.

dressing is

bead or bog chain eyes
body;uv hareline polar chenille
tail;marabou or rabbit strip

try them in various colours hope this helps

Default Polar bear.

The Polar Bear my way is...

Hook - Comp heavy 10
Silver dumb bell eyes
White marabou tail
Body - Hareline UV polar chenille siver uv

Once its tied, sweep the chenille body back and trim the marabou to the same length as the body.
Figure of 8 over the dumbell eyes with siver dubbing is optional.
