self sticking lead

Been out for the day and managed to pick up some of the above its 20 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide and 1/2mm thick paid £2.50 for it what do you reckon, did i get a bargain or was i had?

You cut it into about 1mm strips PEEL of the back and wind it around the hook and it STICKS to the hook,hence why they call it self sticking lead[ cannot spell "self adhesive"]

Right i know you are going to laugh,now the wife has a doll house business and she was at York racecourse doing a doll house fair,now the guy opposite had these rolls of lead on his stand and the people who buy it use it for flashing on a dolls house much the same as you would do on your own house.the company is called romney miniatures and the website is romneymin.com not been on it yet but he told me he has all different sizes.
