Piranha Hooks

Has anyone used these hooks, if so are they any good, as £2.25 seems a good price for 100 of them.

Yep i've used them and they are good, they stay sharp for a while and are strong!

No better than royd hooks from ebay, you get what you pay for

Kamasan hooks can be bought for £5 per 100, well made and will not let you down.

Dont ever buy cheap hooks/flies or cheap leader material

They can be bought from O'Reilleys here , or sportfish will do a price match on these as well, but O'Reilley is a total gent to deal with

kamasan is what you want, I can hand on heart say pirhana are pish. Barker is spot on kamsan will put you in good stead. I use barbless only now, but I did used to get mine from fastmail. Not as cheap as O'Reilley's but good service.

Avoid Piranha like the plague. Their quality control geezer must be a blind man wearing boxing gloves. You'll bin at least 20% of them.... very poor.

Have to agree ! i purchased about 600 pirhana hooks and gave 580 of em away, quality control is atrocious, i now use kamasan and have not had a single bad hook cheers ian

The Piranha hooks are good hooks. They are stronge and durable. They are worth every penny.
