Default Dabbler size ?

Probably a silly question but i tie my dabblers with a longish tail however iv'e noticed that a lot of people tie their dabblers small with small tails, how big or small do you tie yours? look forward to your replies many thanks ian

Hi R Ian,

Think the best way and general consensus to create an overall balanced Dabbler, is to have the Tail length equal to body length.

Rian as carl said tails normally are the same lenght as the body,

irish dabblers can have slightly longer tails, ive bought a few new patterns to tye up and was amazed at the lenghts of some,

horses for courses.

Sizes 10 nd 12 , normally, but seen them on a big 8 and a small 14
