Reckon u cant go wrong with hoppers in various colours n sizes , if u happen to be like me and miss takes just figure o eight back after a miss and bout 8 times out of ten they will take it wet. Best of luck with it , and they are also easy to tie (only the legs are a pain ).

tightlines jonboy.

A few klink-hamers would be a worthy inclusion Ian. Deadly suggestive pattern and will catch fish when they are on many different food sources.

Ian, I never go far without a few Para Adams, or pink klinks, a Griffiths gnat, and a couple of sedge patterns.
Good luck, you will enjoy it.
Steven.

Default CDC & Dear/Elk hair sedge.

I swear by this fly, it is very easy to tie and seems to work for me in most situations, it works well as a static dry but also is bouyant enough to stay afloat in fast moving water, I also find it works well on ressies when the wind is up with a slow retrieve, Best fish on this fly 9lb 8oz Blue. If I could only ever use one dry this would be it.

Mick

P.S Thats DEER hair
