Question I am stuck , Where to buy ??

OK as some of you will have seen I am jumping into this fluff wrapping game . I have been looking on the net for some stuff to tye with . I am lost Who on here ( or else where for that matter ) is good please for threads and fur and feather ?? I know there are trade members but not all have a web page and I have no idea who does what . Who does the best value deals as money is an issue ( as it is for us all )
O yes and hooks , where do I get them from ??

Thanks

What is it your looking for Danny
Artifly does some good value capes and such, best not to go buying expensive saddles just yet.
Saracen does some top class saddles for lough flies.

Practice your disciplines first before getting bogged down with materials too expensive to waste.

Pearly Dabbler for Hooks, some really good deals in Trade Classifieds.

Saracen & Ruthvenflyfisher for Capes.

Ruthvenflyfisher for Dubbing.

Anderson Angling & Grommit for threads and tinsel and pretty much everything else....

Keep your eyes peeled for some bargains in Trades and Members Classifieds, always something to be had.

Carl

If you going to be tying mostly lough flies ,The Frankie McPhillips dubbing boxes would be a good start ,maybe buying indian or patch capes would be better than buying saddles until you get more competent and confident in the use of hackles ,I have probably bought stuff from every trade seller on the forum when it comes to fly tying gear and i haven't had any bad stuff so that shows you the quality of materials being sold through the forum

Cheers all Lots to go on there .

So there is no such thing as "a beginners pack" of dubbing and Indian/Chinese capes ?? I have to try and work out what I need and go from there ??
